Sí, per fi veig que el final d'aquesta labor arriba. S'ha eternitzat i m'avegornyeixo només de pensar quan vaig començar a retallar els hexàgons de paper i tallar les teles. Si fos més organitzada, solucionaria molts dels meus problemes. Però ara ja tant se val, finalment he pogut quadrar les vores, ja he tret tots els hexàgons de paper i preparat el biex. Només en queda preparar el sandwitx i acolxar, com si fos poca cosa. Però com el fred comença a fer acte de presència, no hi ha res que em vingui més de gust que passar les tardes sentada al sofà, escoltant la ràdio i acolxant el 'grandmother garden'.
Sí, por fin veo que esta labor llega a su punto final. Me avergüenzo solo de pensar enla eternidad que he tardado en preparar el top, recortando los hexágonos de papel, cortando las telas... Si fuera más organizada, solucionaría muchos de mis problemas. Pero ahora ya tengo listo el top, he podido cuadrar las esquinas, retirar los papeles y preparar el bies y solamente me queda preparar el sandwich y acolchar, como si fuera poca cosa. Por suerte parece que el frío ya asoma y os puedo asegurar que no hay nada que me apetezca más que pasar las tardes sentada en el sofá, escuchando la radio y acolchando mi 'grandmother garden'.
OMG, I thought I would never see this WIP finished. I am so embarrassed because it was long time ago when I was cutting the hexies and trimming the fabrics. I wish I were more tidy. Fortunately, the top is over because I have been removing the pieces of paper and making the bias. Now it is ready to be assembled with the backing fabric and it is about to be finished, as if quilting was a quickly task. However, I can't think in anything more delightful than spending these cold afternoons sitting on my couch, listening to the radio and quilting my 'grandmother garden'. Lucky me!!
